The Kvam series is based on a play of geometries, guided by the possibilities and limits of the jacquard weave. The pattern clearly refers to the horizontal and vertical directions of the fabric, while the diagonal lines create rhythm and dynamism. The pattern provides associations to both Norwegian and Japanese motifs.
